Table assignments organize meal times by giving campers specific seats. These assignments can cover breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with each meal having up to three different seatings that can be assigned separately.

Define Tables

  1. Navigate to Admin > Camper Setup >Tables. If you have no tables defined, the screen will read, ''Campminder has detected that you have not yet defined any tables.'' It will ask you how many tables you'd like to define, and what the capacity at each table will be.

  2. Click "Continue". You will then be given an array of text boxes, numbered from 01 to the number of tables you defined (06 in our example above), followed by a capacity for each. You may change the numbers to names if you wish, and change and table capacities.

  3. Click the ''Save Tables'' button, and those tables and their capacities will be listed on the next screen. You can edit any table, or add new tables at any time.

Assign Tables

Now that you've got your tables defined, you can match them to campers.

  1. Navigate to Camper > Table Assignments. Check the boxes next to the sessions for which you wish to assign tables.

  2. Choose the division for which you wish to assign tables from the drop-down list. You may only assign tables for one division at a time.

  3. Choose the meal for which you wish to assign tables from the drop-down list. You may only assign tables for one meal at a time, though you may later copy assignments from one meal to another.

  4. Choose the seating for which you wish to assign tables from the drop-down list. You may have up to three seatings per meal. This allows you to have up to 3 different meal configuration possibilities (like Monday-Wednesday-Friday, Tuesday-Thursday, Saturday-Sunday). If the meal assignments will be the same each day, leave this number at 1.

  5. Select a bunk plan from the drop-down list. You may select "Do not display bunk."

  6. Choose how you would like to sort your campers.

  7. Click the blue ''Display Campers'' button and check the boxes for the campers you wish to assign to a table.

  8. Select the table to which you wish to assign them from the drop-down list on the right side of the screen. Click the blue 'Assign' button.

  9. If you make a mistake, select a camper and assign them to the 'Unassigned' table to reverse the move.

  10. You can copy from one meal to another, a whole division at a time. Use the Copy button to use the same assignments in this current meal to copy to a different meal.

Note: You can undo any of these selections by using the "clear division assignment" button.

Report on Tables

Generate a report on camper table assignments to print and post in the campers' bunks or the food hall.

  1. Navigate to Reporting > Housing/Table Assignments > Table Assignments.

  2. (Optional) Use the drop-down list to enter two additional fields you would like to include in the report along with camper name and table assignment. In this report example, its showing "Preferred Name" and "Pronouns".

  3. Check the boxes for the sessions you wish to include in the report.

  4. Enter the "meal" and "seating" you wish to report on from the drop-down lists.

  5. Check the box to include "Staff" in the report and the "Bunk Plan" (if using).

  6. Click the green ''Generate Report'' button.
