Unlike the Additional Options page of the camper application, this page is more for those random pieces of information that do not fit into other categories.

Additional Information

  1. The additional information section has the same two info boxes as the other camper app pages. Feel free to use or not use at your discretion. Additionally, there is a Bunk Information Header Message, if you choose use the bunk section options listed below.

  2. Enabling a Camper photo (while not required) is helpful for creating a more complete camper profile. Photos are helpful when you put together bunk reports to give counselors before campers arrive. We strongly suggest enabling this feature.

Note: You cannot make the photo request required, only shown.

  3. If you want to know the camper's cell phone number or email, you can show or require the field here.

πŸ’‘ Tip: It's best not to ask for this info to keep things simple. You won't often need to talk directly to campers, unless they're older and direct communication is necessary.

  4. If you honor Bunk/Cabinmate requests, you may choose to show this field. Set the number of request you allow a parent to add as well as any messaging. 'Request not to bunk with' is an additional option you can turn on.

πŸ’‘ Tip: Many camps hide this section on the camper app and instead use the separate bunk request form. Campers may not yet know who they want to bunk with this early on when in the application process.
