When you need a quick snapshot of how your camp is performing, chart widgets on your homepage offer helpful, at-a-glance insights. These visual tools pull data from your existing reports and compare trends like enrollment and revenue across seasons.

Note: In these charts, "weeks" refer to full 7-day periods, not partial weeks or specific days.

Below is a breakdown of the most commonly used chart widgets and how to read them.

Camper Week Comparison (Full Season)

This chart compares your current season's camper weeks with the total camper weeks from previous full seasons.

Note:

  • The current season's data will usually be lower, especially early in the year.

  • Past season data represents a full year of enrollments.

Why it’s useful: This helps you track how your current season is progressing overall and gives a sense of the full-season goal.

Example:
If 2025 had enrollment numbers of ~350 and you’re currently at 125 for 2026, that’s okay—you’re likely still early in the enrollment period.

Analogy:
Think of a fundraising thermometer. Last year's total ($25,000) is your benchmark, and this year's current total ($3,500) shows your progress so far. It’s not about being equal yet—it’s about tracking growth toward that target.

Camper Week Comparison YTD

This chart compares your current season's camper weeks as of today with previous seasons’ totals as of the same calendar date.

Note:

  • A true apples-to-apples comparison by date.

  • Shows how this year’s enrollments are trending compared to previous years at this time.

Why it’s useful: Great for understanding if you’re ahead or behind pace based on the same enrollment window.

Analogy:
Instead of asking “Are we close to last year’s total?”, you’re asking “How are we doing compared to this point in the season last year?” A 15% improvement year-over-year by this date is a great sign of momentum.

Current YTD vs. Previous YTD

Shows the number of campers per session as of today vs. the same date in past seasons.

Notes:

  • Focuses on session-level data, not just total camper weeks.

  • Helpful for spotting under- or over-performing sessions.

Why it’s useful:
This chart helps you quickly see how each session is performing right now compared to the same time in past seasons. It’s especially helpful for identifying trends early—like which sessions are filling faster or slower than usual—so you can adjust marketing, staffing, or planning decisions before the season starts.

Current YTD vs. Previous Full Year

Compares the current number of campers per session to past seasons' full session totals.

Notes:

  • Useful to see how close your sessions are to reaching last year’s totals—even if you’re still mid-season.

Payment By Season YTD

Shows payments received so far this season, compared to what was received by this date in previous seasons.

Notes:

  • Tracks financial momentum.

  • Useful for forecasting and pacing.

Why it’s useful:
Helps you track how much revenue you’ve collected so far this season compared to the same point in previous years. It’s a great way to monitor your financial progress in real time and spot early signs of growth or shortfalls.

Payment By Season

Compares the total revenue for each full season.

Notes:

  • Focuses on completed seasons.

  • Helpful for reviewing trends and goal setting.

Why it’s useful:
Gives a big-picture view of total revenue by season, helping you evaluate overall performance, set future goals, and identify long-term financial trends.

Tuition By Description

Displays charges categorized as "Tuition" by session.

Notes:

  • Breaks down tuition revenue by specific descriptions or session names.

  • Useful for financial summaries and internal reporting.
